Windows 7 RC? due out in first half of 2009. That is just (web gossip) of course because of slow adoption of Vista. MS has never been on time however. Currently Vista, XP3 and Ubuntu Linux are all stable. It is just a time of transition and many have trouble adjusting.

and there is still a lot of rage about vista and people not liking it and still switching back to xp. so windows 7 better make people more happy with microsoft or they might start to have a hard time with sales in the future
