Hi all,

I am looking for an upgrade - first of all, I don't mind buying a desktop PC (say from eBuyer, and then upgrading a few parts if that's best?).. However basically, I want to look to spend around £500. I also want to include 2 desktop monitors (not inc. in the budget) which are the same make/model no smaller than 21".

The machine I want needs to be 64-bit, doesn't need to come with an OS as I can install that myself as I have a copy. I need a decent amount of RAM, a good processor, video/graphics and sound card..

1TB HD would be suitable as well, as I have a 1TB external which I use to hold all images, video's, music etc which is shared along my home network inc, laptop, another machine and my xbox 360 (you could say the machine I want to replace is the 'datahost').

Again not including within the £500, I want to get a decent sound setup with controllable bass (subwofer needs to be included)..

Can anyone tell me if I can get a DECENT spec machine, and give me some examples they can provide and would recommend please..

I work in IT and do a lot of remote support from home, so please keep this in mind as my machine needs to run high-end software and would be good to run multiple programs without any lag or decrease in performance..

Many thanks in advance.
