I have decided to give my current desktop to my brother and build a new one for myself. I don't really play that many games, because i really only do net browsing & stuff like that but i still do want a rather fast computer. If you have any suggestions just say (oh and before you ask, no i am not considering getting an i5 & P55 Board).

-------------------------------
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400
-------------------------------
Motherboard: Asus P5Q
-------------------------------
RAM: Corsair Twin2X4096 6400C5
-------------------------------
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB SATA
-------------------------------
Optical Drive: Lite On IHAS324
-------------------------------
GPU: Galaxy 9400GT 512MB
-------------------------------
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster 5.1VX
-------------------------------
PSU: Corsair VX450W
-------------------------------
Case: Thermaltake M9D
-------------------------------

The only thing i'm not really sure about is the GPU. I only really use brands that i have had good experiences with in the past and i have never used anything from Galaxy so i'm not that sure.

Thanks

Sounds good. If you're browsing the web ... word processing... a few movies ... and not many games... that build will do just fine. Nice work.

Galaxy are a reputable company based in Hong Kong (i live in CHina), i have 2 x 9800GTx in SLi and they are monsters, no problems, and if they do there is always the warranty :) great cards, great price. if unsure go to their website.
