Hi,

a) I got a Laptop running with XP named Laptop_XP.
b) I got a Desktop running with Vista named Desktop_Vista.
both are connected thru my router and can acces internet normally.
I made folders on each one and set the sharing rights.
On Desktop_Vista, I enable Network Discovery, file sharing, public folder sharing, printer sharing and such.

With Laptop_XP, on the networking I can only see shared folder made on Laptop_XP, I can't see Desktop_Vista neither the sharing folder made on Desktop_Vista. Same problem with the Desktop_Vista, It doesn't see Laptop_XP in the Network but only himself and the router.

What did I forget to do?
Can't see each other, can't share files, so forget the printer. Only internet is working. :(

Thank for reading.

Check out this recent article from SmallNetBuilder that

around most of the roadblocks:

Thank pal, I will check it.
I manage to let them see each other, by changing the name of the workgroup to match each other. And install the LLTD protocol on the XP.
