formatted a dell dementsion 2400.now I can not get on Internet.I am connected to cable modem, belkin router,this pc Is hardwired to router.win 7 laptop connects wireless to router, & Is able to get on Internet. Also In device manager, their no sign of network ,or lan. what should I do ?? thanks

Go to the Dell website support for your make and model and download the network adapter drivers and install them.

raphoenix the above post has great Info, but I made head nor tail. finding & Installing a driver, Is greek to me. need more help.

I beleive I followed & heeded of the advice that has been offered. I d/ld several drivers from dell & Installed them,restarted & still there no change. I run cmd,Ipconfig returns user, documents file. no mention of ip address. the only network connection that shows Is msn of course that does not connect. need help.
