I bought a netgear wireless router and installed it but when installing it didn't give me an option to secure my network. I am now trying to secure my network but when i go into my network connections to try to make it secure it says put in password. When i put one in it comes up with an error saying not the right password. Does anyone know how to secure this type of wireless router?

In order to access the router wizard, the default name is "admin" and the default password is "password" - not very innovative! Then you have to go from there. I don't quite remember the details, but if you get stuck, let me know and I do some more research.

What disk are you talking about? Probably the disk for the installation Wizard - right. But that is a lot easier. Call your Internet Explorer and type 192.168.01 into the adress bar, hit ENTER, put "admin" (without quoters) as name and "password" as password and you are in the Wizard. Then do the above.
