I've been having some issues with my remote desktop. I've set everything up correctly as far as firewalls and whatnot and it does work initially. I can access my XP SP2 box from anywhere for the first few months. However, after that time when I try and access the XP box, the remote desktop program simply goes grey for a moment as if its connecting then nothing happens. I've checked all ports and they are set correctly. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

brianl818, hello. Are you using Windows Remote Desktop? If so, the hosting machine must be running XP Pro or MCE 2005, right? What OS are you running on the remote system(s) to access the remote desktop? Do you have the remote connection profile saved in a .RDP file?
