NEED HELP KIDS GOT AT COMPUTER!

Hi my name is Koolkat I have a hp pavilion entertainment pc. I know nothing about computers so Iam going to try and cover everything with you. When booting up it goes to the password page. Once I type in my password it loads a screen saying I should enter a product key for vista. I have typed in the product key on the back of the computer and it says it is invalid..... I have tried booting it and safe booting it but it refuses to let me do anything until I enter a product key. Sometimes it refuses to even boot up...

You should type in the product key of the Windows Vista operating system. It should be found somewhere on the DVD-case of the installation disc for the Windows Vista.

I just had the same problem with a brand new Windows 8 System. I had to call Microsoft to get the problem resolved. I started at 1-800-microsoft ie 1-800-642-7673
