Me again. thanks for answering all my questions in the past. Got another one. I have a samsung blackjack 2 and id like to be able to sync it and back up all my calendar info on my pc. I have outlook 2000 and i really cant afford 2007. Unfortunately activesync 4.5 wont work with outlook 2000. activesync shuts down during synchronization. So im looking for an alternative to either of these programs or even both. Running on windows xp and phone is on windows mobile 6.1. Thanks

I looked online and found an a sync program that may work though I'm not sure how well it would work.
It's called Funambul and it supports Outlook XP/2003/2003 (Same as Active Sync supports) and experimental support for Mozilla Thunderbird/Lightning/Sunbird.

Due to it's experimental support of Mozilla Thunderbird/Lightning/Sunbird I would suggest staying with ActiveSync and updating to Outlook 2007.
Outlook 2007 is $90 on NewEgg. If that is too much then I don't really know of a better solution, I don't think it would be wise to go with an experimental extension and beta client (Lightning or Sunbird).
If you still want to try it then here are the download links.
Funambul Server with Outlook, Apple Devices and Windows Mobile support:
Support For Mozilla Thunderbird/Lightning/Sunbird, Note: It's an experimental extension so it may not work right -
Mozilla Thunderbird -
Mozilla Lightning -
Mozilla Sunbird -
