I don't know what happen but my laptop vista just shut down by itself without giving me any reason. It's like someone pull of the plug. I did a search and it seemed other people complaint about problem this too. Some said it had to do with not enough power or over heated. I hope this does not happen too often or I'll be pissed off with vista.

It can't be over heated since I purchased a chill fan to cool off my laptop from the bottom. I'm not blocking the vent fan of the laptop.

The only thing I could think off which may give this problem is that recently I just add an extra USB hub (4x holes) in addition to the 4 hubs that came within my laptop which may cause that not enough power.

Anyhow, anyone had this experience with their vista?

Have you checked the power settings in Control Panel? It may be set to power off after a specific amount of hours.
