My laptop - status update

I received an email this morning saying that it was shiping today - will arrive in 2 or 3 business days!
Yay!
Although I will probably have a lot of reinstalling to do :( hey ho
Oh yeah
Whatever you guys have heard about Acer's repairing thingy being really slow and crap, its wrong - my laptop was fixed in about 2 days (sent fri, shipped back on tues!!!)
so happy - files arent such a big issue anymore, although would be nice .... (wistful)

But it only takes 2 minutes to fit a new drive.

I was anyhow amazed that they did not ship you a drive rather than going thru this whole procedure. Did you ask them to recover your data?
