my first build(28 posts)
(LOL) Go to Antec site in my last posting and look at all cases and power supplies.
Pick the products that you like and will fit within your budget.
For your build, I think a 650 Watt, 80% efficiency PSU would be just fine.
The reason for using Antec is that you can always purchase parts for their products.
If you go deep enough into their website, they use to have drawings with part numbers for their products.
Haven't checked lately.
Have an old big empty Antec case in back just waiting for an X-58 MB. (LOL) (LOL)
That is how long they last.
Read the reviews !!!!
They will tell you what problems others may have experienced.
Also download the MB manuals and read them.
There is MUCH, MUCH PREPARATION BEFORE buying parts for a Build.
(LOL) I'll leave that up to you.
The ultimate in an air cooled case / frame.
Believe it or not, the product gets great reviews.
Suppose to to very simple to work with also.
Most computer enthusiast Builds are never small.
Would not think of a Build (Personally) which could not accept internally at least (6) hard drives, (2) DVDs, Floppy Drive, (2) Video Cards, Hardware Fax Card, Dual Lans, 8 to 16 gigs of memory, etc., etc. in various configurations.
Others must set their own standards for their own Builds.
