Do you realize that compusa/tigerdirect bought the circuit city consumer list and have taken over the website (see the 3 sites, look almost perfectly identical) and still sell items via circuit city.com which essentially is tigerdirect/compusa
Dcw329, whenever you buy something of value, it is worth checking on the web. E.g. a 16GB USB stick that sells for about $50 in the electronic chaines sells for $15 on the web. A 640GB external disk that sells for over $100 in the store sells for $70 on the web. And that is for exactly the same make/model, without shipping charges and from Newegg who in my book are one of the most serious companies around. There are, however, shady outfits like Buy.com. So it is always good to check the reputation of the seller.
Here is a good website where I always check before I buy. Many large companies advertise their specials here and it changes every day.
