In Windows XP when I open My computer, on the left side of the screen is the ability of making a new folder, moving a directory or file, or copying a file from one place to another. I find this missing and wonder if there is any way to start replicating the same screen of Windows XP in Windows 7 ?

Secondly in Xp when I wish to create a directory and copy many different files into this directory, it stays on the screen. When I wish to copy files from drive F: to drive C:, the location where I want the files to go to isn't available after I copy the first file and I must search on drive C: for the folder where the file should go. I am working in Windows 7 Live Photo Gallery and after I correct a jpg file, I have to also go back into drive C: and find the folder where the jpg file should go to. Is there any way of correcting these annoying problems ?

Is there any ways to get the classic look like in XP into Windows 7 ?

1. To move or copy a file or folder, use this.
2. your scond problem will also be solved by 1.
3. There is no classic look in win7 - fortunately.
4. Win7 is not XP - use it's advanced features.
