My battery isn't lasting on my iPod anymore, ill charge it for hours on end and when I go to use it the battery dies within an hour. I was thinking of going to Geek Squad to get some advice on what to do but i'm not sure if its worth getting a new one?

Once it's got to that point you can't rejuvinate them, replacement is the only option. There are sites that advertise battery replacement or you can go through Apple if you want a genuine service, at a price.
If you do get a new battery, even though it's supposedly not as necessary as it used to be, it's a good idea to run a battery in by initially fully charging it and then let it run down completely a couple of times before recharging - using it with a dock from day one can lead to a shorter battery life.
