well recently i got a new computer and on my old one i had limewire and Itunes so i easily clicked and dragged downloaded music into itunes.

However now on my new comp I have frostwire. I click and drag the files.
to library on itunes and only one song will show up, however when i click on it a small window pops up saying opening url ......

It then disappears and proceeds to try and play the song but just freezes.
other time a window pops up saying please check to make sure you have entered the right URL.

I am also using windows vista ultimate vs windows XP.
and yes i have diabled windows fire wall , and UAC.

I am going to assume you're songs are MP4's. You need to use iTunes to convert them to MP3's, and then you can import them with Frostwire.

Well, my mistake. But you still have to export for iTunes, and then import. Or you could just open Frostwire, and the add the contents of C:\Users\You\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\

.MP4 is format that can handle both video, audio or both.
To be able to tell the difference by looking at the file name there are alias extensions .M4A and .M4V.
For more on MP4 see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP4

Also on the question, I think the OP is downloading audio or video in Frostwire and attempting to import them into iTunes.
