When running multiple tasks within firefox, I want to move a window to see the other. When I do this, it moves the outline of the window instead of the window itself. How do I correct this?

What Operating System do you use? Windows XP, Windows Vista, Ubuntu, etc.
Also is the problem just that an outliine is displayed or can you not actually move the window?

I'm running Windows XP and i do see the entire window, the problem is when I click to move one window to see the other, it shows an outline of the window until i move it to where i want it then the window itself moves.

In Vista it's this (not sure about XP)
Appearance Settings > Effects > show windows contents while dragging

just right click on the desktop > properties > apearence tab > effects > tick the check box show window contents while dragging that should fix your problem glad i could help if it works for you

Edit: just noticed that that was the same as the above post except going for the desktop
