I keep a portfolio and a watchlist on msn money. Everything at the site works well except when I click on porfolio, a silverlight screen comes up to verify my version or download it. I have the most current version of siverlight, but cannot get to the porfolio. Any help?

Is it possible that my new download of Norton 360 blocked the portfolio somehow? That is the only thing that has changed on my end. I need to allow cookies for that part of the site. But since the home page recognizes me, I think that is not the problem.

Is it possible to need an older version of silverlight?

1. Close all IE windows, reset IE from Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced.
2. Download and save the latest version of Silverlight to the desktop and close the browser.
3. Install Silverlight
4. Check if every thing works in MSN Money using IE browser.

Look on the right for the old versions.

Santo, that will cost me a lot of work. I use eight homepages..

Just go to Internet Options and highlight all your home pages and right click copy. Paste them in note pad to save. To replace them simply paste them back in. No biggie.

The intructs did not work.It did not wipe out my browsers, just the settings. Siverlight had instructions to F5 to no avail.

Here it is. I use quick launch when I open my browser. That version stays pinned to the task bar and does not update. When I signed into the regular desktop explorer icon, it magically worked. I then unpinned it and pinned the updated version to the taskbar. Lesson learned.

To me that means Santo's method worked. Xhi, it kept the homepages intact, unless explorer is restored to original, I'm guessing.
