MSE error.

I have microsoft security essentials installed on my laptop. when i scanned my external harddisk, it found two viruses in a folder named:
Backdoor:Win32/bifrose.EO
TrojanDropper:Win32/Dunik!rts
When i tried to quarantine them both, it took a long time. After an hour, i was prompted with an error message saying "MSE coudn't apply the actions u selected." The error code was 0x80501001. What to do??

So. Manually delete the files those nasties are in.

isnt it possible to remove just the virus from that archive but not the whole zipped file??

Why ? If you unzipped the file, the virus will be in another file, probably a .exe, that is essential to run the program. If you removed that, then it won't work anyway.

Edit. You could always unzip the file and rescan of course.
