This week download helper stopped working. i used it for downloading bunch of songs from music blog pages. now it doesn't seem to recognise links to mp3s anymore. it usually stays gray, in case it doesn't, and i click on it's icon, a tiny square appears on the icons lower right side and still nothing happens. it's kinda absurd. Is it known to be in conflict with any other service or update of service i use? like download statusbar or anythng? Maybe with updated Firefox? i'm a little confused.

/Are there any similar addons i could use?

thanks in advance, Daniel

There may be some answers there if you can get by the poorly written site.

For YouTube only, I think this is great:

Scott, have you seen this message at listentoyoutube.com?

Update: Due to recent update in Youtube TOS, conversion from youtube has been disabled. We are working on adding features so you can download from other video websites along with other new tools to help you get mp3. Thanks

Despite that, it worked for me with a YouTube video.

No, I had not seen the update, I wonder when that went up?
It was linked to by Lifehacker and I thought it worked great.

There are others.
