Moving Outlook 2003 data into Outlook 2002

I have a significant number of emails, calendar postings and contacts on one computer that is using Oulook 2003.

I need to move all that data to another computer using Outlook 2002.

I have tried simply dragging the files. I have also exported the data to a pst file. Neither one seems to work when I use either the file/import or the file/maintenance choices on Outlook 2002.

Any suggestions?

I believe this is a Unicode (2003) to ANSI (2002) issue. This article by the good folks at Slipstick explains how to convert the other way than you want, but may provide some insight:
