Hi, I am separating my user files from program files into a new volume. Is it advisable to move my user profile, appdata folder?

merrishellbell hi. Not a good idea. Your Pictures, Videos, Documents, etc, no problem (use the Location tab in their properties).

Hey there, LH - Please pardon if a stupid question, but why is it not a good idea? Also, is it possible to just move some subfolders from the appdata folder - like email?

If the parent program allows you to then yes.
There was a recent topic on this, from SarahJames I think. Will look for it.
