My Dell monitor randomly shuts down a few minutes after booting. However, the Dell CPU stays on.

I have to force the CPU off and boot again.

Please help.

Which model is it? Is it a desktop, a laptop, a netbook, an ultrabook?

because you didnt provide more detailed information. it may be the problems of the monitor, the cable, the hard drive and so on.
