using windows xp in my shop and using my dongle from 3 network but signal poor and it loses the connection, would signal improve if i connect a router of any kind or would it have to be a 3 kind thax izzi

it uses radio signals, use/borrow a laptop have a walk around to see if you can find a spot where it better or look at 3s coverage checker

my three dongle will work on a 5 meter extension . the line of sight to the mast is best as walls buildings metal trees can block/lower the signal
