I have a 1GB MMC Memory Card, and i'm not able to delete any files from it. The Delete Option is not present when i right Click on the files in Memory Card.Formatting also does not help.Disk Management does not help. I also tried editing registry keys, and changed witeprotect value to 0.

There is a tiny little switch on the side of the card. Check whether that is on the off position.

Actually, I have a Micro SD card Adapter, and that has a Lock Switch, but this MMC Memory card that i''m having problem with does not have that switch.

It may be time to copy the files you want to a new card.

I even tried covering 2 contact points of the Card with tape, but that too didn't help

Is it possible that you did not put the files on there (or put them on from another system) and this current system doesn't see you as the "owner" of these files? Perhaps you need to take ownership of the files on the card.
