I'm running as an administrator, Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium with all updates. I've installed new drivers for the tuner card, and want to rescan channels. When I select Windows Media Center from the Start menu, the only options available are "Frequent/Play Live TV" and "Tasks/TV Program Guide". All I can do is go to Play Live TV and view the old channels. I've tried to disable/enable WMC in "Turn Windows Features on or off" it had no effect. How do I get all the normal options back into the startup menus?

I was impressed with the extensive discussion of WMC startup switches, but unfortunately "First time startup" wasn't one of them. Short of uninstalling/reinstalling WMC altogether, is there a better way?

Well, almost perfect. Hard to believe there isn't a single top-level menu in MC that provides all these as selections, but everything is working. Now it's time to figure out how to use it :).
