hi everyone.
search the site for this problem couldn't find it

I downloaded a game that only came as a file, done internet search and this came up
name of game is Mystery Trackers Four Aces Collectors Edition

MIME type - application/x-msdownload
Windows does not recognise this MIME file

can someone help please and dumb it down for us computer dummies

Where did you download the game from? Can you post a link? That file type I think is an old E-mail file, but not sure.

It's a Non-recognized application by MS, that is, even though it says x-msdownload it does not conform or have anything to do with MS and may well be of a malicious file type as many do conceal nasties.

There is a free trial but You must purchase the full version. I am suspecting that you got your download from a torrent.

I downloaded the game from Bitcomet , the person is wendy99 i have had many of her games but i have also had a few of these on other games.
