As most of you know i live in the Kansas City Missouri metro area. we are in the middle of the storm some areas are calling for 6 to 10 inches in my area and 15 north of me and to boot we are getting thunder snow so i am in hibernation mode. i am a little scare but i guess i will be ok.

Hang in there John. <LOL>
So far, we only have about 1 inch of snow down here in Rich Hill (7:30am).
I have my snow shovel and salt ready and waiting.
Hope you have a great day.

Time to curl up with a few good movies, a warm drink, and pray the power doesn't go out. We got the same storm in the Phoenix area and parts of the area got hit with snow, gropple, and hail. One of the baseball training camps in Scottsdale was still cleaning up snow and ice from the fields this morning (complicated by the fact no one has snow plows or blowers here). All I got here in Tempe was some rain (which was needed), a bit more than expected, and a bit of pea sized hail (that, fortunately, did no damage).

Just a spelling error. But, this.

Also, hope all is well with you John. Seems like a massive storm. Probably headed East, not what I need here in Pa. either.

It's spelled both ways. Which one is correct depends on which TV station you're watching.

Thanks Joe. I've always called graupels, snow pellets. <LOL>

@John - How may inches of snow have you gotten in KCMO so far today? Only 4 inches here.
@ LF - Isn't snow quite rare in Tempe, AZ.?

No prob Joe. St. Joseph is approx. 2 hours North of my location.

Thanks Jim, My Aunt is in her eightys and I don't talk to her very often. So, good to know she might not have gotten the foot or more of snow.

Yeah, I can't seem to find out how much snow St. Joseph has on the ground. Maybe you can, here's the link to their current weather...

Good idea, Joe. I'm sure she'll be happy to hear from you.
No problem here as long as I have electricity (total electric here). I'm as snug as a bug in a rug. <LOL>
You take care out there in PA. Hope the bad weather misses you all together.
