Tis Strange.
US Cannot Import Cheaper Medicines from Europe and Europeans Cannot Import Cheaper Software from US. :( :(

LH, prescription medicine is a lot cheaper in e.g. France than in the US - I have seen differences up to 50 times - not 50% (e.g. for antibiotics). Even "the pill" is 10 times more expensive. Only non-prescription items (e.g. Aspirin) are cheaper in the US.
But as far as W7 goes, that is easy. Just buy it in the US.

I don't think I'll buy W7. I shall just wait until I buy my next computer. Then it will come included :)

Pretty well will restrict different machine configurations and trouble-shooting.
