Since recently (not me) installing MSE antivirus software people have been saying that they have sent me e-mails (gmail) but they have not been delivered! I have Avast,IObit, and Malwarebytes + windows defendar which I hope is enough to cover my security. How do I remove MSE which does not appear in the control panel list of programmes...at least not in any words/titles that I recognise.....please advise

Hi Leasholm ,
You definitely need to get rid of IObit as it is in itself a form of spyware. Use Revo free version in advanced mode, if it asks to restart before Revo has finished, don't let it.
You have Avast so there is no need to install another AV as this will do more harm than good.
If you have Win Defender active, then MSE is not installed.
But to add to your list SAS free edition.
MBAM and SAS, are the 2 best one's out there.

If you had paid anti-viruses like Norton or Avast etc.....then they may detect that the program is acting suspicious, doing something you never asked them to do.....which i suspect would be because idownloaded a malware itself and i have come across many infected copies and some fake anti-viruses....taht is why i dont like it....i might come across a viruses/hacker ridden one.
