Microsoft Outlook - Changing Appointments to To-Do's?

Usually you can drag the appointment to the to-do bar to change it into a todo... you can usually drag items to different folders to do this. For instance, if you drag an email to the calendar it will prompt you to create an appointment, or dragging an email to the to-do bar will create a todo item.
Otherwise, you can usually flag an item for followup, which will make it show up as a todo item.
