Microsoft 2007 strange issue -- help appreciated!

Ever since I've gotten the newest version of Microsoft Word, I've noticed that my slash/question mark key often types in an accented "E", and my quotation mark key types in a strange apostrophe. I keep watching for moments where I strike something to change the font set, but I have no idea what to do... it seems to happen at random. Help!

Check in Control Panel > Key board > if there is any other language is installed other than English.

I'm not sure... I'm looking in the Keyboard Properties but don't see any language options...

Try looking in,
Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Keyboards and Languages > Change keyboards.
If there are any languages there that you don't want, just remove them.

Edit. If you make any changes there, you will need to reboot.
