Im new to the command line in windows but have some Knowledge . Does anyone think I should buy Microsoft® Windows® Command-Line Administrator's Pocket

Had a look at the indexes. Neither book is completely up to date. The first one does include XP. The second added Vista but do not see W7 orW8 listed. Unless I missed it. If just for a learning getting aquainted type thing I would go for the lowest price book. Can always get the other later. My opinion only, others may have a different outlook.

There are certainly lots of websites where this information is available free. Just Google your questions. To me that's easier (and cheaper) than a book and is all encompassing.
