Hey... the Classic Shell update today now has an option to bypass the W8 Metro and add back the start button.

I think about half of our Windows 7/8 users run the GREAT program.

@Rick, Might give it a try tomorrow. W7 machine is the wifes, I still use the Vista. She is not much for changes.LOL
Gives you "Fly Out Menu's" like ole XP so you don't have to search for everything.
Much quicker to use and hides nothing.
I think your Spouse will like it much better and enjoy it.
Easy to install and uninstall leaving not a trace behind.
Never had my own XP, used it at work only and still do. I went from 98SE to Vista.
I jumped from XP to Win7 so never used Vista and that's why I don't answer many Vista questions. :)
Will try that Classic Shell on Vista machine. If the wife likes it will put it on the W7 machine. Actually I'm okay with how things are now.
SHIFT + click START gives you Original Vista look.
Click START gives you XP look.
You can use it BOTH ways without uninstalling it. :) :)
