If you want to clean up your Mac the easy way, CleanMyMac is a great tool to get the job done easily, and it will even keep your computer clean automatically.

Unlike the competition, it also includes great tools like a Clean Uninstaller, to get rid of applications and clean up the junk that they leave behind. All with the click of a button.

All was fine two weeks ago, but recently I noticed metro apps don't open anymore. After clicking on the metro app's icon, the splash screen or whatever it's called shows up, and nothing happens. It returns to the start screen after a while. Pinned apps (normal apps) works though.

Any idea how to fix this?

Ok, so I went to Event Viewer and under Windows Logs > System there are errors like this:

The server Microsoft.ZuneVideo.wwa did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
(I think this is for the Video app which I also tried to open.)

Sorry, I got nothing. 240 views and apparently none of them do either. It is after all a test system. You probably should just reload it. Image what you have in case you want to put it back, but reload. Also report it to the developers.

Not only reinstall, but download a new .iso
As windows 8 is still in development and not yet the Release there are bound to be problems in some scenarios.
As Xhi pointed out, report the problems so that developers can can act on it.

The download here; http://windows.microsoft.com/e.....8/download

Burn at the lowest speed using this; http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgburn/

You should not have any problems.
