I hav a 32 bit system, windows vista os.I downloaded matlab and wen i try to install it by clicking on the setup file, initially it shows copying of files, then matlab icon appears. But suddenly windows comes up with the message setup has stoped working.
What should i do to install it??I tried with 3 different versions of matlab...

Assuming you have UAC enabled, have you tried right clicking and selecting 'Run as Administrator'? That usually fixes most installer problems.

Where did you download Matlab and which version is it?
