Marks100 fund appeal.

As you are all aware, our lovable member Mark is having a rough time of it at the moment and that is putting it mildly!

HTG Forum members have decided to start a fund to raise money to enable Mark to have a better lifestyle, pay for a few luxuries and have money aside for when he moves to his new larger home.
Having a larger living space will enable him to have his own Dialysis on site thus reducing the 40 mile torturous round trip to Derriford Hospital every few days.

Please find it in your hearts to give something towards Mark's support.

Donate here; http://www.gofundme.com/HelpMarkS

Monies will be electronically transferred to his bank on a regular basis and updates will be posted on a daily basis.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Most gracious thanks to Scott and Amanda for their invaluable help in getting this fund up and running and also for the initial donation.

Please feel free to post your comments below.

Edit (24th October)

Had a question raised by a member regarding payment methods. Gofundme is set up in GBP. Below is a conversion matrix;

Mike, it's our pleasure to assist you, to assist Mark in any way possible.

Mark is a member of the community, this HTG family, that cares about one another.
Yes, we can be dysfunctional at times, what family isn't ? We've always been about
giving and sharing though and I see this as an natural extension of what we do best.

Please consider donating any amount and/or spreading the link provided above. Thank you.

UPDATE

25th October

A senior member has donated £200.00 anonymously.
However, the gofundme site could not process the payment via Paypal, so the payment was sent to me directly.

In this way, BTW, no fees were incurred so the whole £200 was sent. This will not show on the gofundme totaliser.

This has now been transferred to Mark.

So the total sent to Mark so far = £449.00
{total raised so far = £485.00 -Paypal and gofundme fees} Balance in hand = £14.00

The next three folks that donate at least $50 / £32 will receive a FREE 'How-To Geek Guide to Windows 8'. Make your donation through the page set up on Mark's behalf or contact VistaMike through normal channels.

Our sticky for Mark needs a bump, so summarily 'bumped'

Please try and help Mark to meet not only his own goal, but our goal.
