Why does my main menu keep popping up and out ? what can I do to stop it?

I assume you mean the menu when you press the WIN button or the WIN orb. That can disappear when an interrupt from something else popping up happens. But it "popping UP" automatically I have never seen. Can you describe the circumstances a little more.

as I am typing this to you, my main menu keeps popping in and out, I'm working with vista if that helps

main menu meaning where you can,ajust or set things like,picture, geometry,advanced, reset. things like that.

I think what you are seeing is the *monitor* overlay menu. We all thought you were talking about a menu being displayed by the PC or by the Vista operating system.

Check for a menu button on your monitor and see if it's stuck or something is leaning on it.

I am lost. LH, do you understand this? Does she mean the ATI or Nvidea menu?

ok. my main menu buttons located on the right side of my monitor,not struck or nothing against them, but it keeps blinking on and them off screen ,what can I do? can you help me please.

no pc off at night. it's an emachines monitor ( E19T5WTFT LCD flat panel monitor )
