Mac Won't Fully Boot

So I'm trying to get Mac OSX x86 on my laptop, dual booting with Windows Vista Ultimate.

Only, I have to set the DVD boot flag to this:

disk0s1

Once it recognizes the root device it gets stuck with an error message which is something like this: (I forget exactly, but Mac technicians and pros should know)

nfs_init failed with 6

Oh wait - managed to fix it. I disbaled legacy USB and Networking in my BIOS.
