:)
I'm on a nature kick this week;) I was most amazed by the birds. They look like torpedoes diving then swim like fish underwater! I didn't know they could hold their breath that long.

At around time index 6:00, the narrator says that all of the "hunters" play a part and each is dependent on the others. Say what? It sounds to me like the dolphins are doing all the hard work of rounding up the bait balls so that the others can chow down. What is it that the birds, sharks, and whales bring to the party? Maybe I'm biased because we are cousins, but I think the dolphins are amazing because they are so smart!

Oh yeah, why don't the sea hunters eat the birds? An avian in 20 meters of water is a sitting duck (heh, heh) for sharks and whales and they could vary up their diet this way. Fish and fowl, anyone? :-)

Fantastic! Love the birds! Kinda makes you glad to at the top of that chain! A few million yrs ago, we'd be the fish, just not as many of us!

They is gannets.

Interesting point is, if life evolved on land, from fish walking out of the water. How come there are still fish ?

What I want to know is,when tuna companies advertise dolphin free tuna does that mean there might be some porpoise in it? And how do they know old Salty Sam the Sailor isn't slipping in a little something on the side- do you trust gov't food inspectors? Is it possible old Lighthouse might have ended up as 'food for the fishes' and might be part of your sushi? And LH has an interesting question-why are there still fish? LH-In central PA they're called 'damn birds' as the eat all the small fish in the susquehanna and poop all over! >:/

actually, they're called commorants (spelling may be wrong)

Tom. Your first question refers to the nets that are used.
Your last point, do you mean shitehawks ?

This is a cormorant - in the video there are gannets. Gannets are beauties, but those darn cormorants are wáy too bold to be considered nice in any way ...

Ugly blighters, but used to catch and retrieve fish for fishermen in Asia. I used to have them at the bottom of my garden.
