Lost my desktop Ebay Icon !

i know it's trivial but my ebay icon has gone from my desktop and i was just wondering if anyone knows of a dowload or something.
I've searched everywhere on my PC registry an everything but to no avail ! TIA !

Mike, right click on your desktop, click NEW, Shortcut, in first box type in www.ebay.com, next box just name it Ebay. that will direct you straight to your browser.

Another way is just to drag the page to desktop thus; but it may not show the Ebay Icon. (just realised you in uk so the it would be www.ebay.co.uk)

But if you are happy with the previous, I will email the .ico so you can alter the new shortcut.

oh, new ebay iconic image

Change the image, change the icon, how does that really work?

Or is it just another way to pay a dipstick to redesign something that never needed changing in the first place!

The good thing is, I closed my ebay account 6 months ago due to fraud

Ok Mike, i was going to make a how to geek icon the same way but when i went in to shortcuts it wanted to know what file that i wanted a shortcut for and it wouldn't let me make a web shortcut..

I use Paint to make a .ico.

Find a pic you'd like to become the icon. Open it in paint. Save the file as "HTG.ico" INCLUDING QUOTES! and 24bit bitmap as file type. You now can change the shortcut in properties (browse for the .ico)

Can't post image, Photosuckit down again!
