(Solved) - Login/logoff loop - Win7 Home Premium 64-bit

I think the title pretty much says it. I type in my password, hit enter, it logs in and instantly logs me back off. I'm at a loss here. I've never encountered anything like this.

Update: Found something about the Userinit registry key getting messed up. Checked it, and it is as it should be, so that is not the problem.

Update 2: Tried the Win7 repair disk. Still can't stop the loop. Also, as stated below, cannot access Safe Mode.

Update 3: Read that replacing userinit.exe with the same file from a working computer would work. Tried it, also does not work.

I tried to get into safe mode. Held down F8, still booted like normal. F8 key shouldn't be broken, as the laptop is brand new.

Restart and as soon as it restarts, start tapping F8.

Since this problem may be the result of malware,having changed a registry key

i would boot with this http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/rescuedisk

if you can download and burn it to disc,on a healty pc.

İt may clean up the system enough for you to be able to boot.

Long story short, got together with some of my other geek friends. Ended up doing a reformat.
