locking toolbar (not taskbar)

If you follow:

But instead create the toolbar on the top of the screen, it looks horrible. It will highlight the border, when it have focus. It's just not cool. I'm looking for a way to lock the newly created toolbar (like you can lock the taskbar), so it won't get highlighted, and will stay in place...

Anyone know if that is possible?

I don't think it is... that toolbar is definitely ugly!

would be better off using Desktop Sidebar... I think that's the name of it... the freeware sidebar app, which you can skin.

You could try True Launch Bar at http://www.truelaunchbar.com/.
It has a stand alone program that can dock a toolbar on the screen.
