I tried to sign on to my computer ealier and a screen appeared that looked like an official document from the FBI,a recorded message stated that my computer was locked by the FBI for some violation.The screen said that in order to unlock my computer I have to pay a fine on line by purchasing some prepaid card and entering the code on the screen... it was the only entry that could be made on the screen.It was very clear that it was fraudulant.... incorrect spelling,bad grammar etc.Has anyone ever seen this? I only got back access by restoring the system.

That is a pretty nasty one and similar to the one hitting the UK at present. They are all variants of the same scam. Please do not pay any money to 'them'.
