Here you go:
-did not change any setting on my machine (Vista Home Premium)
-was able to connect normal direct by Local Area Connection or wireless via the router.
-now it connects and after a while disconnects and I can not get it connected again
-no problem on my other laptop!
-whenever I try to connect via the Local Area Connection the orange and green lights in the back of the modem do not light up or show activity.
-when I disconnect the cable from my laptop and connect the same cable to my other laptop, the lights will show direct activity and connect right away.

any suggestions how to solve this?
