Loading windows 7 on MSI X320..Problems

I have a new MSI X320 with Windows Vista, I want to upgrade to Windows 7 but have heard that the upgrade will not recognize the hard drive. There are drivers but at what point do you install them and any ideas that may help on this upgrade?
