i downloaded security essentials it would not load saying not valid for win 32

Hello gwheel202, Click on this link here, and give those folks a try. They're usually VERY good @ helping people with their Microsoft Security Essentials issues. If they can't help you, they'll have someone call you, and then possible try and hook up to your computer, and fix it for you. All for FREE!!!

Hey gwheel202, what OS are you running and what "bit" example: im running windows 7 64bit. Maybe you have the wrong setup? If not i recommend doing what Odeho19 says.

I would re download. Open Internet Explorer and download it from the MSE website. It will pick the correct version for your PC.
