(Solved) - Live email and .EML files

Hi Folks

I recently purchased a new laptop running Windows 7, my email is Live Mail. I find that I cannot always open email attachments and from what I've heard this is because my computer is not recognising .eml files. Does this sound feasible and if so does anyone know a fix?

Try repairing Windows Live Essentials as this can fix the problem.

Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features and from the list select on Windows Live Essentials then click 'Uninstall/Change' that is a the top of the list next to the 'Organize' button. Then a Window will appear to ask you whether you want to 'Uninstall' or 'Repair' click on 'Repair'.
