Im a student who wants to learn programming on a Linux-based pc. I want to get a linux note book £100-£300 price range. I want to be able to do some graphical 3D programing as well as programs. Would a atom processor based notebook be powerful enough? Any suggestions for one that would last me a while?

Linux doesnt like the hard drive on my desktop but I want a laptop/notebook anyway.

You might want to compare among all the Intel Processors before making a decision.
Intel Processor family information.
