Links in red

I suggest to colour the links in red rather than in blue. They are hard to spot - especially if you use only 1 little word like "here". With the new link button, this feature is used more and more and I find websites with red links are much easier to navigate. The alternative would be to underline them as is usually done for a link.

Underlining is a good idea, I'll enable that.

We take what we can get. Red apparently did not make the cut. But underlining is better than what we have now.

@whs,

Edit: RED MADE THE CUT IF YOU RUN YOUR POINTER OVER THE LINK.

That's not the point. I have to see it WITHOUT cursor - especially when it is on the blue background like every second post.

I added in underlining to the links now. Definitely makes them easier to see.

I need to fix up some of the other styles too... lists, bold and blockquotes don't work right.

Very good, thanks. I noticed it just a minute ago. Now I can use "Link" again. I was always afraid that someone not so familiar with our Forum would not notice the link when it is hidden behind one or two words.

Old 22" flat screen and graphics card about "shot". (lol) (lol) (lol)
Whatever the color, the change is appreciated and good.

Taking the suggestion of whs into consideration, I can see why he would suggest that feature, but for some people, whether it be because of their screen or the individual person, red is not very easy on the eyes when it comes to text.

Taking his suggestion, it would be nice to have options in your personal profile on how to display links. If this is not an option, automatically making links bold would be an improvement that I believe all users would both benefit from and enjoy.

In the htg forums site some links are in black and some in blue.
What does this colour indicates ?

@rupeshkp728: The topics that are blue mean you have not viewed it and the black ones mean you have viewed it.
Though there are some bugs that sometimes cause topics you have viewed to become unmarked as viewed so you see blue links even though you viewed them.
